The exhibition of Serbian sculptor Djordje Čpajak  was opened on the 3rd of April in the 'Miro' Gallery in Thessaloniki.
An artist that is considered as one of the 40 best living sculptor in the world, according to English "Public Art World's Eye View", exhibited 37  sculptures in various formats, in white and black marble, granite and bronze, as well as few models, which are in large format exhibited in China, Japan and other countries.

The exhibition is a retrospective of Čpajak’s work that he did during his stay and work in Italy over paste years. Among others, numerous visitors were able to see "Tower of Nikola Tesla", "Prince Lazar", "Window", "Memory", as well as model of the awarded sculpture "The Touch", shown in the famous sculpture park in Beijing which is set at the opening of the Olympic Games.

The exhibition is part of the "Greek marble initiative". This initiative has gathered 27 sculptors from around the world in Souroti (place near Thessaloniki), among which our artist has performed significant role with its 6 monumental works.
Djodje Čpajak was born in 1961 in Prijepolje, completed graduate and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, worked for many years in Italy and apart from several individual exhibitions Djordje has participated in numerous group exhibitions all over the world (over 60), where he won certain number of International Awards. The last individual Exhibition was held in Belgrade in 2013 at the "Phoenix" Gallery.

The exhibition is opened one month, from 03rd April to 03rd May 2014 in the "Miro" Gallery, Street Fock Nikifor 8.
